Custom Microcements creates bespoke seamless surfaces for exceptional residential and commercial interiors. From bathrooms and feature walls to floors, furniture and individually commissioned pieces, every finish is created to complement the space around it.
We work directly with homeowners as well as architects, interior designers and property developers, bringing together craftsmanship, material knowledge and considered design to create surfaces with genuine individuality.
Every project is approached as a collaboration. We listen, advise and apply each finish by hand, creating depth, texture and subtle variation that makes every completed surface unique.

Every Custom Microcements surface is individually applied by hand. No two installations are identical. The subtle variation, movement and texture created during application are part of the character of genuine microcement — a quality that distinguishes it from any manufactured or printed alternative.
We consider this variation not as imperfection, but as the signature of authentic craftsmanship. It is what gives each surface its depth, its warmth, and its sense of place.

Jay Coles founded Custom Microcements with a clear purpose: to create distinctive, beautifully finished surfaces with craftsmanship at their core.
Professionally trained in Sheffield and Spain, including specialist training with CimentArt, Jay combines traditional hands-on craftsmanship with specialist microcement application techniques. Every project is approached with meticulous attention to preparation, detail and finish.
Custom Microcements takes on a select number of projects at any one time, allowing each installation the attention it deserves. From the initial consultation through to the final seal, Jay remains personally involved throughout.
